GHF Humanitarian Foundation Distributes 29,000 Aid Boxes to 2.1 Million Palestinians in Gaza – But Is It Enough?

Gaza on the Edge: GHF Distributes 29,000 Aid Boxes for 2.1 Million People, But Hunger Still Looms!

Imagine this: 2.1 million people live in the Gaza Strip, and the Humanitarian Foundation GHF, supported by the US and Israel, has just distributed nearly 29,000 food boxes. Yes, you read that right – 29,000 boxes for over two million people!

Each food box is enough to feed 5.5 people for about 3.5 days. That means this aid is just a drop in the ocean of needs. Since late May, GHF has delivered one million boxes, but is that enough to stop the humanitarian disaster?

Most of the aid was distributed in southern Gaza, while only one box was delivered to the central part of the enclave. Did you know these food products are mostly dry and require preparation? In Gaza, where access to many places is limited, that’s an extra problem.

The Israeli military confirmed that GHF is building a new location in Rafah, southern Gaza, which might mean aid will be more accessible, but the question remains whether it will reach everyone who needs it.

In May, dozens of Palestinians were killed while trying to get aid at GHF distribution centers. Is this a humanitarian crisis or humanitarian chaos?

This situation casts a shadow on those who claim the aid is sufficient and the situation is under control. If 2.1 million people depend on 29,000 food boxes, it’s clear this is just a drop in the ocean.

Is this the right way to help people in Gaza? Or is it just a show for the public while millions continue to suffer?
