Sofi Anderson, a 30-year-old Dane, has been sourcing food exclusively from dumpsters for four years, resulting in spending only 99 dollars on household products in 2024. She started this lifestyle in 2020 in Sydney, realizing she could save thousands of dollars. Sofi uses the saved money for travel and works only three days a week. Although her lifestyle is unconventional, she considers it a form of activism against food waste. Her family and friends support this way of living, and for them, it has become
