Goran Gluhaković, the frontman of OK Band, has been rocking the scene for over two decades with hits that still echo in clubs. Although the band’s name was actually coined by Maja Nikolić, Goran embraced it and turned OK Band into his solo project. Growing up playing rock in basements, he’s known for his honesty and the motto “I’m my own boss.”
Goran revealed how he mentored fellow musician Aca Lukas early in their careers but advised him to find his own style because Aca is incredibly musical. While Goran experimented with vices in his youth, today he’s clean, a sportsman who lives healthily. Popularity is a dangerous beast; people flip overnight, but Goran found peace in family and friends, his personal “Great Wall of China.”
He has two beautiful daughters, Jelena and Anđela, whom he always watched over when they went out, because the city can be a jungle. Even now that they’re older, he keeps an eye on their circle and safety. Goran is cooking up new projects, including a male-female duet praised by Sale Matić.
In short, Goran Gluhaković proves you can stay true to yourself and your music without falling into vices, and that family and friends are the real power in the wild world of fame and music.
So, what do you think? Is Goran the last honest rocker standing, or just another nostalgic relic? Drop your thoughts below and let’s get this debate rolling!
