Goran Marković, the famous director, has made it clear that on June 28th, Vidovdan, he will stand with the students at the protest. “I feel a civic duty to try once again to change society. If we fail, we will live in darkness for the rest of our lives,” Marković said. He does not expect the government to meet the students’ demands, which include calling early elections and removing the tent camp from Pionirski Park and Nikola Pašić Square. Marković describes the government as “mafias, thieves, and liars” who will do anything to stay in power. The student protest “See You on Vidovdan” will start on June 28th at 6 PM at Slavija Square, and Marković calls on all citizens dissatisfied with the state of the country to join. This protest is not just a student movement but a civic fight against injustice and corruption suffocating Serbia. If you are tired of lies and arrogance, maybe it’s time to join in. Or will you stay silent while darkness swallows us? Share your thoughts, because silence is not an option!
