The Government of Serbia has approved an additional 12.01 billion dinars for higher education and student standards, allowing universities to reduce tuition fees for students. The association “Students 2.0” is calling on universities to take appropriate steps and align with the government regarding the allocation of funds. Additionally, the students’ assemblies’ request to increase the budget for higher education by 20% for the year 2025 has been adopted, which could lead to a 50% reduction in tuition fees.
