Grand Opening of the New Žnjan Beach in Split

The city of Split is officially opening the new Žnjan beach on June 21, marking the completion of a multi-year project to renovate this important urban area. The opening event will feature a multimedia program including music, dance, performances, and light installations. Mayor Tomislav Šuta emphasized Žnjan’s role as a new space for socializing, recreation, and city events. The project is partially funded by European funds, with the rest covered by the city. Management of the beach will be taken over by the city company Žnjan d.o.o. Due to the expected large number of visitors, special traffic regulations and additional bus lines will be introduced. Žnjan is set to become the new center of Split’s summer, a place for music, sports, art, and community.
