Sava grows veggies in greenhouses, happy with radish prices.

Sava Jandrić from Budisava near Novi Sad has been engaged in greenhouse production of vegetables and fruits for 24 years. He is currently harvesting radishes, which he started in January, while the lettuce will be ready at the beginning of March. He also plans to transplant tomatoes and peppers. Jandrić emphasizes that greenhouse production requires attention and labor but is more profitable than traditional agriculture. He is also involved in hazelnut production but is not satisfied with the yields and prices. He is pleased with the current vegetable prices.
