When the storm hit Split, Poljud stadium was devastated like never before! The roof is falling apart, club facilities flooded, and the city’s sports infrastructure is in a shameful state. Hajduk, the symbol of Split and Dalmatia, can no longer endure these conditions. The club and fans demand an urgent solution – a new stadium at Brodarica! Enough with empty promises and delays!
Poljud has been Hajduk’s home for decades, but today it is far from modern standards. Although the stadium is iconic and a pride of the city, its condition is alarming. Warnings about its decay have been ignored for years, with authorities silent and inactive. While football infrastructure across Europe advances, Split and Hajduk remain stuck in the past.
Fan associations and minority club owners clearly state: a new stadium is not a luxury, but a necessity! Without proper infrastructure, there is no serious professional sport, no development of young talents, no future for Hajduk. A youth training camp is the foundation of any serious club, and Hajduk lacks one.
The City of Split and the Croatian Government must finally act and stop with empty promises. Quick and decisive steps are needed to build a modern sports complex at Brodarica. This topic has dragged on for nearly 20 years with no results. Enough of procedural and property-related obstacles that only delay the inevitable.
Hajduk deserves better! The city and state must realize that investing in sports infrastructure is investing in the future of the city and the entire region. Let’s not allow the symbol of Split to decay due to irresponsibility and inertia. Hajduk is more than a club – it’s pride, tradition, and strength of Dalmatia.
If you’re tired of empty promises and want to see real progress, drop a comment below and share your thoughts! Is it time to finally start building the new stadium, or will we keep watching Poljud fall apart? Hajduk deserves better, and Split can make it happen!
