Chaos on the Streets of Belgrade and Novi Sad: Blockades, Traffic Accidents, and Total Mayhem!

Welcome to the Serbian version of traffic hell! As Belgrade and Novi Sad struggle with blockades lasting for hours, citizens are left wondering – when will this madness end?

Belgrade: Blockades and Police Everywhere At the corner of Takovska and King Alexander Boulevard, traffic is currently moving, but don’t be fooled! The tunnel near Nikola Pašić Square is blocked, and police are everywhere. The blockades are announced to last for 7 hours, and the city feels like it’s under siege. Police presence is massive, but chaos continues.

Traffic Accidents and Emergency Calls Last night around 7:30 PM, a traffic accident occurred near the Banjica shopping center, injuring two people. Emergency services responded 16 times overnight, mostly for chronic and oncology patients. So while some fight blockades, others fight for their lives.

Water and Electricity Issues Today, parts of Belgrade, specifically the Čukarica and Zvezdara municipalities, will experience water outages at certain times. Fortunately, no electricity outages are planned, but that doesn’t mean the situation is problem-free.

Novi Sad: Blockades and Roadworks In Novi Sad, the intersection near Merkator is blocked, with moderate traffic at the corner of Partizanska and Temerinska streets. Blockades are announced for 6 hours, but traffic is mostly flowing now. Roadworks at the heating plant close the left lane on King Peter I Boulevard, complicating things further.

More Water and Electricity Problems Parts of Futog and Detelinara in Novi Sad will be without electricity from 8 AM to 1 PM, and parts of Sremska Kamenica will be without water. So besides traffic jams, residents face basic supply issues.

Conclusion: Cities on the Brink of a Meltdown Belgrade and Novi Sad today are prime examples of how city life should NOT look. Blockades, accidents, roadworks, water and electricity outages – all in one day! Is this the new normal in Serbia?

If you drove or planned to go out today, you probably asked yourself – is this a joke or reality? Share your experience, maybe together we can find a way out of this chaos!

And hey, if you managed to get somewhere on time today, congrats – you’re a real hero!

Don’t forget to drop a comment – is this chaos or just another normal day in our cities?
