A plane and a helicopter crashed due to training error.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated that the collision between a passenger plane and a military helicopter over Washington was the result of a training error, including an altitude issue. The helicopter, with three crew members, was on a routine night training mission. The accident occurred when the plane carrying 64 people collided with the military “Black Hawk” helicopter, which then fell into the Potomac River. Twenty-eight bodies have been recovered, and President Donald Trump announced that there are no survivors. The military will investigate the details of the accident.
