Emergency Services in Kragujevac: A Hellish 24 Hours with Nearly 200 Calls and 42 Interventions!

Imagine this – while you’re sleeping or struggling with everyday problems, emergency teams in Kragujevac don’t stop for a second! In the last 24 hours, the emergency service received nearly 200 calls and had a whopping 42 interventions on the ground! Yes, you read that right – 42 emergency outings in just one day and night!

What are the most common reasons for these calls? High blood pressure, heart problems, chronic illnesses like cancer, and also stomach issues and injuries during the night. During the day, people mostly call because of high blood pressure and heart troubles, while the night brings asthmatics and those with stomach pains. Emergency teams intervened in public places nine times, and clinics performed 73 adult patient examinations – 15 during the day and a staggering 58 at night.

But wait, there’s more! A similar situation happened the day before, with 39 field interventions. The most common reasons then were fainting, blood pressure fluctuations, and stress. The night was especially tough for asthmatics and those with breathing problems. Emergency services urge citizens not to wait and to seek help immediately if they feel unwell, especially during hot days when health risks increase.

This situation shines a harsh light on how much pressure the healthcare system is under and how our heroes in white coats are pushed to their limits. Is this a wake-up call that we need to take public health and emergency support more seriously? Or will we keep ignoring these alarming numbers until it’s too late?

If you ever thought emergency services are only for big accidents, think again. These numbers show how serious everyday health problems are and how important it is for everyone to be ready to act fast. So, what do you think – is the system ready for these challenges, or is this just the tip of the iceberg? Drop a comment, share your story, or crack a joke to lighten up this heavy topic!
