Intensive Work on Ten Major Construction Sites in Belgrade

Belgrade Mayor Aleksandar Šapić stated that there is currently intensive work on ten major construction sites in Belgrade. The projects include building three schools, two large garages, finishing markets in Obrenovac and Lazarevac, as well as expanding streets and boulevards. He particularly highlighted the works at the site of the former Old Sava Bridge, where a new Serbian Bridge is being built, expected to adorn the city’s banks in about a year. Works are also underway on the underpass of the Boulevard of Arts, Nikola Pašić Square, and Republic Square.

Political Perspectives:

Left: Left-leaning outlets might emphasize the social benefits of the construction projects, such as new schools and improved public infrastructure, highlighting the positive impact on education and community development. They may also scrutinize the allocation of funds and call for transparency and equitable development.

Center: Centrist sources tend to report the facts straightforwardly, focusing on the scale and scope of the projects, the timeline, and the expected improvements to the city’s infrastructure. They may include statements from the mayor and other officials without much political commentary.

Right: Right-leaning media might highlight the efficiency and progress under the current administration, framing the construction projects as evidence of strong leadership and economic development. They may also emphasize national pride in the new Serbian Bridge and urban modernization.
