International Planning Meeting for Expo 2027 in Belgrade

The first International Planning Meeting (IPM) for the specialized Expo 2027 was held in Belgrade, gathering representatives from 114 countries and five international institutions. The meeting is the largest diplomatic event in Serbia and a significant step in preparations for the Expo, scheduled from May 15 to August 15, 2027. Finance Minister Siniša Mali emphasized the importance of the event for the development of Serbia and the region, highlighting the country’s stability and economic policies. The Expo’s main theme is “Games for Humanity: Sports and Music for All,” featuring three thematic units. During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to learn about the progress of construction works, organizational details, and exchange experiences and plans for the successful execution of the event.
