Iran After War with Israel: Mass Arrests, Executions, and Intimidation

Iran in the Grip of Repression: Mass Arrests and Executions After War with Israel!

After a bloody 12-day conflict with Israel, Iran has launched a terrifying campaign of mass arrests and executions. Authorities claim this is necessary to preserve national security, but many activists and observers see the real intent – to crush any dissent and tighten control over the population.

Spies, Executions, and Fear

Iranian authorities accuse hundreds of people of collaborating with Israeli intelligence services, especially Mossad. In just 12 days of conflict, three people were executed for espionage, and another three were executed immediately after the ceasefire was declared. State television broadcast alleged confessions of detainees, which authorities claim prove their guilt.

But the real drama is just beginning. Activists warn of forced confessions and unfair trials. They fear the number of executions will only rise, and repression does not stop at arrests – threats are also made against families of journalists and activists.

Intimidation of Journalists and Media

Iranian security services spare no means. Parents and relatives of journalists working for Persian-language media outside the country, such as BBC Persian, Iran International, and Manoto TV, have been arrested or threatened. The goal? To force a halt to reporting on the war and repression.

Journalists are labeled moharebs – enemies of God, which under Iranian law carries the death penalty. These threats are not just intimidation but a clear signal that any criticism of the regime will be brutally suppressed.

Families of Protest Victims Targeted

Repression also extends to family members of those killed during mass protests under the slogan “Woman, Life, Freedom.” Hundreds were killed, thousands arrested, and now their relatives are being detained. Most detainees are not charged with specific crimes, and trials lack transparency.

Internet Under Control, Freedom on Hold

During the conflict, authorities severely restricted internet access. Although a ceasefire has been declared, full connectivity has not yet been restored. Popular social networks like Instagram, Telegram, YouTube, and X are blocked or accessible only via VPN in Iran.

Back to the Dark 1980s?

Activists and observers compare the current situation to the brutal crackdowns of the 1980s, when thousands of political prisoners were executed after secret trials by so-called death commissions. Many were buried in unmarked mass graves.

Now, after the war with Israel, Iran is a weakened and vulnerable state that could follow the same path – repression, imprisonments, and executions – in an attempt to crush any trace of rebellion.

Messages of Fear and Control

Besides arrests, Iranian authorities send warning messages to citizens whose phone numbers are linked to Israeli social media pages. The messages demand immediate departure from these pages or face criminal prosecution.

Conclusion: Iran in Flames of Fear and Repression

The war with Israel may be over, but the war for freedom and human rights in Iran is just beginning. Mass arrests, executions, intimidation of journalists, and internet control create an atmosphere of fear we thought was left in the past.

What do you think about these dark events? Is Iran on the path to becoming an open-air prison? Or is this just the beginning of something even worse? Drop a comment, share your thoughts, or just say – “Well, this is really crazy!”
