Israel Claims Killing 30 Iranian Security Chiefs and 11 Nuclear Scientists in 12 Day War

Israel claims it has killed more than 30 high-ranking Iranian security officials and 11 leading nuclear scientists in a fierce 12-day air war with Iran. According to senior Israeli military officials, the initial strike on June 13 severely damaged Iranian air defenses and destabilized their ability to respond in the critical early hours of the conflict. Israeli air forces hit multiple targets, including missile production facilities, delivering a serious blow to Iran’s nuclear program. Iran’s ability to enrich uranium up to 90% has been neutralized for an extended period, and its current capability to produce nuclear weapons cores has been disabled. Iran denies producing nuclear weapons but retaliated with rocket attacks on Israeli military sites and cities. Israeli authorities reported 28 casualties on their side, while Iranian authorities claim higher casualties, though damage has not been independently verified due to media restrictions. U.S. President Donald Trump brokered a ceasefire but warned he might consider re-bombing Iranian nuclear facilities if Iran continues uranium enrichment. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz ordered the military to prepare a plan to maintain air superiority and prevent Iran’s nuclear and missile development, as well as curb Iranian support for militant groups acting against Israel. Iran announced state funerals for fallen military commanders and scientists, while Supreme Leader Khamenei declared victory in the conflict. This conflict has sparked international concern and further escalated tensions in the Middle East.
