The Deputy Prime Minister of Italy and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, confirmed Italy’s participation in Expo 2027 in Belgrade and emphasized that Italy is working on accelerating Serbia’s accession process to the European Union. At the opening of the Serbia-Italy Business Forum, Tajani highlighted the importance of cooperation between Serbian and Italian companies and noted that Italy aims to share its expertise with Serbian firms. He also announced a gathering of foreign ministers from the region in Rome to expedite the accession process.
