Ivica Vidović Sentenced for Series of Robberies in Rijeka

Ivica Vidović, a 35-year-old unemployed waiter from Kloštar Podravski, has been sentenced to nine years in prison for a series of brutal robberies and thefts committed in Rijeka over a period of one and a half months. According to the decision of the County Court in Rijeka, he was found guilty of nine criminal offenses, including seven robberies and two thefts. Vidović, masked and armed with a knife, broke into shops and kiosks, threatening employees, and even stole a purse with 50 euros and personal belongings from a 92-year-old man under threat of a knife. The total damage is estimated at around 6,000 euros. Vidović has been previously convicted multiple times and has served prison sentences. The verdict is not yet final, and the Higher Criminal Court will decide.
