Journalist Jelena Bokun is leaving N1, marking the end of one of the most exciting and dynamic periods in her career. Since December 2019, Jelena has been part of the N1 newsroom, experiencing a whirlwind of emotions and events that shaped not only her professional but also personal life.
In her social media post, she revealed how intense this period was: reporting on earthquakes, floods, fires, political scandals, and arrests. Jelena emphasized that the job was much more than just a job — it was a calling and a passion, not just a routine. She thanked her colleagues, cameramen, and everyone who was part of this journey, highlighting that N1 was a school of journalism for her — professional, enthusiastic, and persistent.
Before N1, Jelena worked at HRT and Z1, where besides journalistic duties, she also hosted central news and talk shows. She took her first journalistic steps at the Faculty of Political Sciences and later completed her master’s studies at the Faculty of Media and Communications in Belgrade.
Jelena Bokun’s departure from N1 marks the end of a significant era for the channel but also the beginning of something new for her.
