TV host and journalist Karmela Vukovčolić suffered an accident while filming the new season of HRT’s show “Mountains.” On Mount Klek, she broke her arm, but that didn’t wipe the signature smile off her face. Karmela shared the news herself on her Instagram profile, detailing the second day of filming. The filming crew, along with members of the Mountaineering Society Klek, successfully climbed several meters uphill. However, the mountain hike took an unexpected turn with a broken arm. Thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses at the General Hospital Ogulin, Karmela received a cast and confirmed that filming would continue the very next day. It was a day full of contrasts — breathtaking views, some witchcraft, one broken arm, and lots of laughter and memories to share with grandchildren. Karmela currently works as the director of the Dugo Selo Tourist Board and appears in the show as a mountaineer and interlocutor. Viewers will be able to follow her adventures, including the mishap on Klek, in the new season starting in October.
