Kate Middleton and Prince William Back at Wimbledon: Royal Family in Blue as Tennis Spectacle Heats Up

Kate Middleton and Prince William just can’t resist Wimbledon’s charm again this year! After attending the women’s singles final on Saturday, the royal couple showed up today at the men’s final, accompanied by their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The whole family was decked out in shades of blue, with Kate dazzling in a delicate summer dress, William and George sporting sharp suits and ties, and Charlotte wearing a flowy dress with a blue bow in her hair, perfectly matching the family’s style.

This marks the third time George and Charlotte have attended Wimbledon, while the youngest family member, Prince Louis, just 7 years old, is still waiting for his tennis debut. The royal box at the center court is usually closed to children due to a limited number of seats — only 74 — but rules get a bit flexible when it comes to royal kids.

Kate Middleton has been a near-annual Wimbledon attendee since her 2011 wedding to Prince William, except for two exceptions: once when she was in the late stages of pregnancy with George, and when the tournament was canceled due to the pandemic. Prince William, also 43, had an extra reason to attend this year’s final — his organization Notpla, which makes biodegradable packaging from seaweed, won the Earthshot Prize, and Wimbledon used their seaweed-based packaging for food and cutlery.

While the tennis spectacle unfolded between Janik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, the royal family enjoyed the prestigious event, showing they remain huge tennis and tradition fans. Kate, despite health issues, proved to be a true sports fan, and the family’s presence at Wimbledon added extra heat to the atmosphere.

If you thought the royal family was all about protocol, think again! They know how to show up and steal the spotlight, and their coordinated blue outfits are just the cherry on top. So, what about you? Would you like to see Prince Louis finally step onto the tennis court? Or maybe you have a favorite Wimbledon moment? Drop a comment and let’s see who really rules the stands!
