How Much Does Vacationing in Sutomore Cost and Why Is It Still a Paradise for Serbian Tourists?

Ah, summer is here, and with it the question that troubles many: where to go to the sea without breaking the bank? If you are from Serbia and thinking about Montenegro, especially Sutomore, we have a real treat for you! Sutomore, that small Montenegrin oasis, has been known for years as one of the most affordable destinations on the Adriatic. Although the prices for sunbeds on the beaches range from 10 to 25 euros, depending on location and amenities, it is still much more affordable than Greece, where sunbeds can reach dizzying prices of over 80 euros on weekends!

Sutomore is not only affordable but also beautiful. The city beach is about 1.5 km long and can accommodate up to 10,000 people at the same time. There are numerous restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and souvenir shops, and the food and drink offer is diverse and affordable. For example, a hot dog costs about 3.5 euros, beer 3 euros, and pancakes 3.5 euros. Cocktails are a bit more expensive, from 7 euros upwards, but still, compared to prices in Greece, where sunbeds can cost up to 235 euros per day, Sutomore is a real budget destination.

For those who love peace and nature, there are smaller beaches like Maljevik, Štrbine, and Tunel, offering relaxation away from the city hustle. Prices for sunbeds on these beaches are lower; for example, at Štrbine, a sunbed set costs only 10 euros, and you can also bring your towel and enjoy nature for free.

Regarding accommodation, prices vary from 20 euros per night for apartments farther from the center to about 80 euros for hotels with pools and breakfast. So, there is something for every budget!

While in Greece there is a real fight for free access to beaches, with apps reporting illegal occupation of space and fines reaching up to 60,000 euros, the situation in Sutomore is much more relaxed and affordable.

So, if you want a summer with sun, sea, nature, and prices that won’t break your budget, Sutomore is still your number one destination. And if you have already been there, you know it’s a place that always impresses. So, have you booked your sunbed yet, or are you still on the towel? Share your summer adventures with us, so we can laugh or complain about prices together!
