Kragujevac Emergency Services Have Been Non-Stop for 24 Hours! A whopping 42 interventions on the ground, with 18 happening overnight, while doctors at the Kragujevac Urgent Medicine Institute conducted 79 adult patient examinations – 34 during the day and 45 at night. But wait, there’s more! There were 11 interventions in public places. Who are these unlucky souls calling for help? During the day, it’s mostly patients with high or low blood pressure and injuries. At night? Alcohol, injuries, and again blood pressure! Is this the new normal chaos in our city?
The emergency service received hundreds of calls, and the situation is so serious that one has to ask – where is our system? Is this the result of poor national health or just the aftermath of wild nightlife? As the number of interventions climbs, doctors struggle to respond to every call.
But it’s not just the emergency service in trouble. While citizens battle health issues, other dramas unfold in the background – from economic problems, political tensions, to climate disasters. All this adds extra pressure on the healthcare system.
Imagine this – 42 interventions in one day! It’s like the emergency service is working on a conveyor belt, non-stop. While some complain about queues and waiting times, others wonder – what happens if these numbers keep rising? Will we soon have an emergency service that can’t answer all calls?
And finally, isn’t it time we seriously addressed the health and safety of our citizens? Or will we keep putting out fires instead of preventing them? Got a story or opinion about emergency services?
