Kragujevac Doctors Pushed to the Limit: Over 160 Emergency Interventions in 24 Hours!

Imagine this – while you’re sleeping, doctors in Kragujevac don’t know what to tackle first! In the last 24 hours, the teams of the Kragujevac Emergency Medical Service performed over 160 emergency interventions! Yes, you read that right – 160! That’s how many calls, examinations, and interventions they handled that even the most seasoned heroes in white coats would say: ‘Enough already!’

During the day, the teams went out on 46 calls – 25 during the day and 21 at night. Adult outpatient examinations were also high: 43 during the day and a whopping 73 during the night shift. Nighttime seems to be when problems pile up, as the number of interventions in the evening hours significantly increased.

What’s worse? There were 12 interventions in public places, which further shows how intense the work of emergency teams is and how much citizens are in distress. During the day, the most common issues were low blood pressure, dizziness, and asthma, while night shifts were marked by interventions due to high blood pressure and chronic respiratory problems.

Doctors warn citizens to pay attention to symptoms due to weather fluctuations and seek help promptly. This is not the time to ignore health – every sign can be crucial!

Does anyone think about how exhausted these frontline heroes are? While we complain about the heat or crowds, they keep running, saving lives, and dealing with the consequences of even an ordinary day in Kragujevac.

If you ever thought the emergency service isn’t busy, think again. These people work like there’s no tomorrow, and we? We complain about trivial things. Maybe it’s time to thank them instead of criticizing.

And while emergency teams fight every new call, remember – next time you need help, they’ll be there, ready to save you. Until then, maybe it’s time for all of us to care a little more about ourselves and each other.

Got a crazy emergency story from your town? Or think this is over the top? Drop a comment, let’s see who’s really ready to admit how important emergency services are – or crack a joke at their expense. Just be careful, they might be the ones saving you next time!
