Kragujevac faced a true medical drama last night! Emergency teams carried out a staggering 51 field interventions in the past 24 hours, while the Urgent Medical Institute recorded 92 adult check-ups and 24 pediatric exams. But that’s not all – during the night, patients flooded in with high blood pressure, while daytime saw a mix of high and low blood pressure cases and various injuries. There were 11 interventions in public places, showing just how tense the situation was.
Doctors and medical staff in Kragujevac are working like soldiers in a war, battling an unrelenting wave of emergencies. Asthmatics, cancer patients, people with heart problems – all came in large numbers, pushing emergency services to their limits. Is this just the tip of the iceberg for Serbia’s healthcare problems?
As the city struggles under this pressure, one has to ask – where is the system? How is it possible that in the 21st century, in a country proud of its progress, emergency services are so overwhelmed? Will anyone finally step up and fix this mess, or will we keep watching our heroes in white coats collapse under the weight of injustice and chaos?
If you thought this was just another ordinary night, think again. This is a wake-up call for the entire healthcare system. So, dear readers, what do you think – is it time for a revolution in emergency care, or will we stay silent as things get worse? Drop a comment, share your thoughts, or just have a laugh – but don’t stay indifferent!
