Kremlin Claims Russia Isn’t Delaying Ukraine Talks, While US Accuses Moscow of Stalling

Is Russia really interested in peace or just playing for time? While the Kremlin insists it is not delaying talks with Ukraine and aims to resolve the conflict diplomatically, the US special envoy for Ukraine, Kurt Volker, throws cold water on those claims. Volker accuses Moscow of stalling negotiations and continuing to bomb civilian targets, which he calls completely unacceptable.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov insists Russia has no interest in halting talks and that dates for the third round are already being arranged. He even thanks the US team for their efforts to facilitate negotiations, but Volker sees a different picture. He calls Peskov’s comments “Orwellian” and calls for an immediate ceasefire and trilateral talks to finally end the war.

As the world wonders who’s really pulling the strings here, it’s clear the situation is far from simple. Russia claims it wants peace but continues military actions, while the US and Ukraine accuse Moscow of dragging its feet and committing war crimes. Is this just another political game or a real chance to end the conflict? Drop your thoughts below — maybe you’ve got the key to this puzzle!
