Lalatović Believes in Advancement, But Noa Is Not Manchester United!
The footballers of Budućnost from Podgorica are gearing up for the second leg of the first qualifying round of the Champions League against the Armenian champions Noa. After the first match, Budućnost is trailing by one goal, but coach Nenad Lalatović remains hopeful.
Lalatović warns that Noa is a serious opponent with excellent individual players. “We must play tactically and smartly because as soon as we give them space, we concede a goal. The players gave their all, but we need to be braver and better adapt to the opponent,” Lalatović said.
He announced that there will be one change in the lineup compared to the first match but did not reveal details. Budućnost has been working on training sessions to improve the transition after winning the ball and prepare for a better performance in front of the home crowd.
Lalatović expressed that he feels wonderful in Podgorica and thanked the fans for their support. He called on them to come in larger numbers and be the wind at the team’s back.
“Noa is not Manchester United, but it is a quality team. With desire, will, and a bit of luck, we can advance,” concluded the Budućnost coach.
