Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is not holding back and today dropped a bombshell on French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. According to him, these two have “finally lost their minds” and are trying to turn back the clock to when their countries wanted to conquer all of Europe! Yes, you read that right – Lavrov claims Macron and Merz want to revive old imperial ambitions, targeting the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union.
In his sharp remarks, Lavrov specifically criticized the joint article by Macron and Merz, which calls Russia the “main threat” and urges Europe to arm itself. To him, this is proof that European leaders have lost touch with reality and are returning to the dark times of conquest.
But that’s not all! Lavrov emphasized that Russia will not accept any “deceptive approaches” to resolving the Ukrainian crisis. The main condition for ending the conflict, according to him, is the legislative extermination of everything Russian in Ukraine, including the rights of Russians and Russian-speaking residents. Yes, you heard that right – Lavrov openly demands the abolition of rights for the Russian population in Ukraine as a condition for peace!
He also accused Germany and “Ukrainian Nazis” of sharing the same desire to enslave other peoples, comparing Ukrainian extremists to Nazis who burned Jews. Lavrov claims Ukrainian Nazis burned Russians in Odessa on May 2 just because they were Russian.
All this was said during Lavrov’s official visit to Kyrgyzstan, where he attended a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
