Lavrov Shatters Illusions: Macron and Merz Have Lost Their Minds, West Cannot Defeat Russia

Lavrov just dropped a bombshell on French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, claiming they have “finally lost their minds”! Yes, you read that right! He accused them of trying to rewind history to the days when their countries wanted to conquer all of Europe, including the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union.

At a press conference, Lavrov slammed a joint article by Macron and Merz that labeled Russia as the “main threat” and called for Europe to “arm itself.” Lavrov said these statements are proof of utter madness and that the West will never succeed in delivering a strategic defeat to Russia, even by using the “Nazi regime in Kyiv as a battering ram.”

He emphasized that Russia will continue to defend a just resolution to the Ukrainian crisis and highlighted the strengthening ties with Kyrgyzstan despite Western sanctions and pressure. Trade between Russia and Kyrgyzstan is actually increasing, and cooperation is expanding into humanitarian, educational, and other fields.

This comes as NATO, led by Italy, plans to boost its capabilities to counter the “aggressive Russia.” Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto stated NATO needs to increase defense spending by 30% compared to four years ago to ensure collective defense and strengthen deterrence against Russia. He warned that Russia might gain the capacity to attack Alliance territory and has mobilized more troops in the last six months.

Meanwhile, Russia continues its attacks on Ukrainian cities like Kharkiv and Odesa using drones and missiles. Recent strikes in Kharkiv injured 20 people, including three children, damaging residential buildings and a kindergarten. In Odesa, one person was killed, and significant material damage was caused. Ukrainian forces reported destroying 97 units of heavy Russian weaponry using assault drones in recent months.

BRICS countries condemned attacks on Russian railway infrastructure at their summit in Rio de Janeiro, which resulted in civilian deaths, including children. They also called for a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine while criticizing US and Israeli airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities and the presence of foreign forces in Syria.

All in all, the world seems on the brink of a new Cold War, with Russia refusing to back down and the West scrambling to arm itself and find a solution. Is this the dawn of a new era of conflict or just another phase in a long geopolitical game? Time will tell.

What do you think? Can the West really “break” Russia, or is Lavrov right that Macron and Merz have lost their minds? Drop a comment and let’s stir the pot in this wild story!
