The Silvercrest electric floor cleaner, powered by a 7.4V lithium-ion battery, is being urgently recalled from the Serbian market due to a serious fire risk. Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the device and return it to the nearest Lidl store for a full refund.
This floor cleaner isn’t your average mop – it features two separate tanks for clean and dirty water and is suitable for various floor types. But due to a manufacturing defect, the producer cannot rule out the possibility of the device catching fire! Would you really want your home to burn down because of a floor cleaner?
This isn’t the first time products have been pulled from the market over health and safety concerns.
