From Star to Volunteer: Lisa Mafia Scrubs Church Toilets!
Remember Lisa Mafia from the music group So Solid Crew, who won a Brit Award 23 years ago? Yes, the same one who rocked the UK charts with the hit “21 Seconds”! Now, brace yourself for a shock: Lisa, now 45, isn’t just singing on stage – she’s scrubbing toilets and emptying trash bins at a local church called Citygate!
Is this a fall from grace or a fresh start? The former music star now volunteers at the church, helping in every way possible – greeting people, working with kids, playing music, managing sound, and even scrubbing sinks and vacuuming the church! In a video she posted, she’s seen in a simple t-shirt and pants, diligently cleaning and prepping the space.
But it’s not all gloom! Lisa is still in great shape. Last year, she wowed fans with her youthful look during a Dubai vacation, posing in an orange crop top and metallic skirt. Fans praised her, with some saying she looks better than ever.
Today, Lisa runs her own music booking agency and has appeared on several reality shows, including “Celebrity Coach Trip” and “The Games.” She even won ITV2’s “CelebAir” competition. Yet, her volunteer role at the church shows how unpredictable life can be and how people can change.
Is this a message to all of us? That fame isn’t everything and true value lies in how much we help others? Or is it just a phase? Either way, Lisa Mafia has surprised us all and shown that real strength comes from humility and hard work.
What do you think about this twist in a music star’s life? Inspiration or a sign it’s time for a new beginning? Drop a comment, maybe you have a similar story or know someone who made a drastic life change!**
