Fire Hell in Ljubuški: Wind the Enemy, Forest Burning, Firefighters at Breaking Point!

Ljubuški is on fire, and the wind seems to be on the side of the flames! The fire that broke out between Friday and Saturday has engulfed several hectares of dense pine forest and low vegetation. Firefighters stood guard all night, managed to localize the fire, but it flared up again! Is this a never-ending hell?

Strong winds in the West Herzegovina Canton are causing chaos. They change the fire’s direction like a game, and firefighters can’t predict where the flames will go next. Drones that could help with firefighting can’t fly because of the wind.

Firefighters are fighting like lions, but nature won’t give them a break. The forest is burning, and people fear for their homes and property. Is this a sign that we are completely powerless against the force of nature?

Meanwhile, in Podgorica, fires are under control thanks to the quick response of firefighters and appeals from Mayor Saša Mujović for citizens to be responsible and not to start fires intentionally.

This is a time when we need more than courage — we need brains, responsibility, and solidarity. What about you? Ready to join the conversation on how to save our forests and homes? Or just going to watch the flames devour everything? Drop a comment, maybe your idea can put out this fire of rage!
