Lonnie Walker to Crvena Zvezda: Euroleague Summer Bombshell or Another Flop?

Crvena Zvezda is on fire! While Vasilije Micić said no to a return to Belgrade and signed a huge Euroleague deal with Hapoel Tel Aviv, the Red-Whites have already found a new ace – Lonnie Walker! Yes, you read that right, the former NBA and Žalgiris player is coming to Mali Kalemegdan to bring fresh energy and fire to the Euroleague. With averages of 13.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game in the Euroleague, Walker is no rookie to underestimate. He has played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs, and Brooklyn Nets, and now he’s ready to show what he’s got in the red and white jersey.

But it’s not just Walker making waves – Crvena Zvezda is probably the busiest club on the Euroleague summer market! Their eighth signing is Hasiel Rivero, a new center who will bring strength under the basket. Meanwhile, Partizan is struggling with NBA exit clauses of their players, but that’s a story for another day. Zvezda isn’t stopping; while others look for exits, they’re making plans to conquer Europe.

Will Walker be the new hero or just another player who quickly fades away from Belgrade? One thing’s for sure – this summer in Serbian basketball is hotter than ever! What do you think? Will Zvezda finally topple Partizan in the Euroleague, or will it all just be talk? Drop a comment, let’s hear what the people have to say!
