A man from Vršac committed suicide by jumping from the second floor of the General Hospital where he was hospitalized for a routine knee surgery. The hospital director, Dr. Ivan Ivanović, stated that there were no indications that the patient had suicidal thoughts. The police conducted an investigation, and the prosecution ordered an autopsy. Helplines are available for individuals with suicidal thoughts, as well as volunteers from the “Heart” Center who offer support to people in distress.
