Lazar Ilić, who is accused of attempted murder in Montenegro and murder in Serbia, is now in Spuž prison under enhanced protective measures. He is being guarded from members of the Kavac and Skaljari clans. These measures were taken after Ilić was returned to the Investigative Prison, based on operational information about possible threats from both clans. Ilić had previously claimed that he was mistreated by the police and was charged with creating a criminal organization. His first-instance verdict is pending.
Lazar Ilić is kept safe in jail from rival gangs.
