After heavy rains in western Serbia, the situation on the Priboj-Bistrica main road is nothing short of a disaster! The Lim River flowing alongside the road only adds to the danger. Drivers are being warned to strictly adjust their speed and drive with maximum caution because the terrain is unstable and hazardous. Road crews are already on site, clearing the debris, but the problems don’t stop there — more difficulties are expected due to the unstable ground. Traffic is currently moderate, but at border crossings, especially at Preševo, passenger cars are waiting up to 20 minutes, while trucks at Batrovci are stuck for up to five hours. Meteorologists forecast cooler weather with occasional showers and temperatures around 23 degrees Celsius, but that doesn’t mean the dangers will disappear.
