Massive Scam with State Land in Belgrade: 21 Suspects Laundered Millions of Euros

Imagine this – 21 people in Belgrade caught in an unbelievable scam worth nearly 5 million euros! How? They forged contracts and documents older than half a century, using stamps and data from the 60s and 80s. Yes, you read that right – they created fake contracts dated 50 to 60 years ago, found empty state parcels, and then sold them as owners. And not just to anyone – to companies and individuals, with notarized copies that looked like they were from the last century!

This gang was so clever they even checked if the owners of those parcels were alive or had heirs, and if the state was the owner, they made fictitious contracts and falsely registered themselves as owners. Then they invested the money from sales into the construction sector and real estate market.

Of course, the prosecution didn’t sit idle – eight suspects have been detained, while ten more are still on the run. The organizer, Nikola L., is a fugitive, which only adds more drama to the story.

This scam is not just a blow to the state but also to ordinary people who lost their parcels, some even with residential buildings on them! Everything was done to look legal, but it was one big forgery.

Is it possible that such things happen in the 21st century? Apparently yes, right in the heart of Belgrade. If you have thoughts on this disgrace, feel free to share – maybe your conspiracy theory or comment will shed some light! Who knows, maybe this is just the tip of the iceberg of corruption and shady dealings with state property.
