Messi Crushed in First Half: PSG Destroys Inter Miami, Former King Powerless!

PSG brutally crushed Inter Miami 4-0 in the round of 16 at the FIFA Club World Cup, and Lionel Messi suffered a painful disappointment in his first match against his former club. The French champions settled the winner in the first half, while Messi was completely powerless and ineffective.

From the very start, the quality gap was obvious. Kvicha Kvaratskhelia easily broke through Miami’s defense and assisted Bradley Barcola for the first chance. PSG took the lead in the 6th minute when João Neves headed in a poorly defended set piece.

After that, the French side shifted into high gear and completely dismantled their opponent. Fabian Ruiz stole the ball high up the pitch, combined with Barcola, and assisted Neves for his second goal. Moments later, substitute Tomas Aviles accidentally deflected the ball into his own net, and Achraf Hakimi scored from a rebound to make it 4-0.

Inter Miami managed only one shot on target in the second half, while Donnarumma easily saved all of Messi’s attempts, including a close-range header. Messi failed to score his seventh goal at the Club World Cup, and PSG moves on to face Flamengo or Bayern in the quarterfinals.

This match once again showed PSG’s dominance and how far Messi currently is from his best form. Is this the end of his star era or just a bad day? Share your thoughts, maybe you know what’s really going on with the legend!
