Shock and disbelief! Mihailo Vukobratović, the legendary director behind some of the most famous Serbian TV series, has fallen during filming in Zemun and suffered serious head and spine injuries. This master of film directing, known for hits like “Better Life”, “Family Treasure”, and “White Ship”, is now fighting for his life at KBC Zemun, where he is held in the shock ward. According to local media, the injuries are life-threatening, and the entire Serbian film and TV scene is in shock.
Mihailo Vukobratović is not just a director – he is an institution! He graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade and was the director of the Terazije Theatre, where he spent 12 years before resigning. His career began back in 1977 with the series “Silhouettes”, and the very next year he directed a hit film starring Milena Dravić. His contribution to Serbian cinematography is enormous, and now we face the tragic news that this artist has been seriously injured.
The fall during filming is not just an unfortunate event – it is a blow to the entire industry. The filming of the series in Zemun, which was supposed to bring another hit, is now on hold as everyone hopes for the director’s speedy recovery. His collaboration with the most popular screenwriters and contribution to cult series remain unforgettable, but the question is when he will be able to return to work.
