Milica Novaković Back on the Podium: Bronze at the European Canoe Sprint Championship!

At the European Canoe Sprint Championship held in Račice, Czech Republic, Milica snagged yet another bronze medal in the K1 500 meters event. Yes, you read that right — another bronze for Serbia!

The gold went to Hungary’s Žoka Čikoš, while silver was claimed by Poland’s Ana Pulawska. But Milica’s fight didn’t stop there. Just a few days earlier, on June 21, she had already won a bronze in the same event, clocking 40 seconds, with gold going to Hungary’s Ana Luc at 39 seconds, and silver to Slovenia’s Anja Ostreman.

Serbian female kayakers also made their mark in the K4 500 meters race, finishing ninth. The team of Anastazija Bajuk, Dina Bacelj, Dunja Stanojević, and Marija Dostanić showed grit and determination, which is promising for the future.
