Mira Aleksova, a skilled beekeeper and herbalist from Vranje, dedicated herself to beekeeping and herbalism after losing her job. She acquired knowledge of medicinal herbs from her grandmother during childhood and later expanded it through literature and expert lectures. Mira makes ointments from medicinal herbs and bee products, known for their quality. She has 50 bee colonies and produces honey, propolis, and wax. Additionally, she and her husband distill rakija from plums and cultivate fruit on their estate.
