Montenegro’s chamber wants beach lease contracts extended.

The Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro has requested Prime Minister Milojko Spajić to annex existing beach rental agreements to avoid issues with the summer tourist season. It has been proposed to form a working group to address this issue, including the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Tourism. The Association of Municipalities emphasizes the need for the Assembly to express its stance on amendments to the Law on Maritime Property before the government makes any decisions. There are concerns that the beaches will not be ready due to procedural changes and uncertainties surrounding new leases.
