Montenegro’s cadet handball queens are gearing up to shake Europe! This fierce generation of girls born in 2006 already snagged a silver medal at the Mediterranean Championship in Podgorica. Now, they’re stepping up for the big leagues – the European Junior Handball Championship. Preparations kick off on July 10th in Ivanova Korita, with a squad of 21 players led by coaches Miloš Perović and Bobana Krstović.
Their group rivals? France, Czech Republic, and Lithuania. Not exactly a walk in the park! But these girls have already shown they mean business, smashing Austria twice in warm-up matches in Vienna.
The expert team, including coordinator Prof. Dr. Dobrislav Vujović and physiotherapist Anđela Kontić Perović, is ready to squeeze every drop of talent from this squad. Goalkeepers Maša Dubljević, Ivana Knežević, and Mia Vuksanović, wings Maša Ulićević, Ksenija Petrušić, and others are all set to fight for Montenegro’s colors.
