Montenegro Junior Basketball Team Prepares for B European Championship

The Montenegro junior men’s basketball team has finally kicked off preparations for the B European Championship taking place from July 25 to August 3 in Pitești! Coach Marko Sekulić has called up 19 players, with training set in Berane. Despite the cancellation of two matches against Israel due to well-known reasons, the team will play six warm-up games, including matches against North Macedonia and Kosovo. Group D is a tough one – Netherlands, Norway, Croatia, and Slovakia are the opponents, with the opening game against Norway on July 25. Will our juniors manage to secure promotion or will they stay stuck in the same place? Coach Sekulić doesn’t promise fairy tales but guarantees fight and a desire to leave a better impression than last year. If you love basketball and enjoy stressing over our young talents, it’s time to join the conversation – is this the generation that can surprise us or are we doomed to hear the same old stories? Comment, criticize, cheer – but don’t stay silent!
