Finally, Montenegro realizes that trash doesn’t just disappear! Producers of vehicles, batteries, electronics, tires, plastic products, and fishing gear are now forced to take responsibility for the waste they create – thanks to the new regulation! Yes, you read that right, they will now have to finance and organize waste management because waste collection has been a disaster so far, and the country has been losing valuable resources. New legal entities and collective organizations are expected to form to tackle the trash, all in line with EU standards. Will this finally bring order or just another bureaucratic farce?
