Chaos in Montenegro: Murders, Political Games, and Security Collapse!

Montenegro is in the middle of a security nightmare! In just three days, two brutal murders happened right in the heart of Podgorica, and the mayor of Budva, Nikola Jovanović, was attacked on the Budva promenade. Is this just a coincidence, or is the country’s security situation spiraling out of control? Petar Odžić, deputy president of SDP and representative of the European Alliance, warns that Prime Minister Jakov Milatović might want to find some time between his endless promotions and visits to actually deal with these alarming issues.

Political games are making things worse. The attack on Jovanović is reportedly planned and politically motivated, while opposition and ruling parties throw accusations at each other. The DPS from Nikšić claims the security sector is in total chaos and that mafia interests are prioritized over citizens’ safety.

The European Alliance is demanding a security assessment for Odžić and his family, highlighting just how serious the situation is. Police say they acted promptly in the case of Danilo Mandić, but is that enough?

All this is happening while Kosovo’s parliament struggles to form a new government, and Montenegro calls for urgent sessions of the Defense and Security Council. Will anyone be able to stop this security chaos, or are we watching the country sink deeper into crisis?

If you think this is just another political soap opera, think again. The situation is serious, and citizens are scared. Maybe it’s time to ask—who’s next? Or is it already too late to react?

So, what do you think? Is Montenegro’s security really on its knees, or is this just another political show? Drop a comment and let’s see who’s who in this drama!
