The Mayor of Bar, Dušan Raičević, hosted the Slovenian Ambassador Bernarda Gradišnik to discuss cooperation between Montenegro and Slovenia, particularly focusing on the project of building a power plant that produces electricity from landfill gas at the Možura sanitary landfill, valued at 1.4 million euros. The meeting highlighted the traditionally good relations and concrete cooperation, as well as Slovenia’s support for Montenegro on its path to European integration. This project is the first of its kind in the Balkans and contributes to sustainable development and environmental protection. They also discussed tourism promotion of Bar and long-standing cooperation in organizing the Žogarija event.
