Montenegro Will Survive Without DPS: Stojović Smashes Myths and Throws Down the Gauntlet to Party Leaders

Montenegro, a country with a rich history, is once again at the center of political battles, and PESA MP Gordan Stojović is not holding back in his criticism of the DPS and their claims. “Montenegro existed before DPS and will exist after them!” he declares, smashing the myths that DPS keeps spreading. While DPS tries to portray itself as the only force holding the country together, Stojović calls on them to finally separate the state from the party.

He mostly stays silent in parliament, but when DPS crosses the line, like now, he cannot stay quiet. Stojović accuses DPS of nepotism and party cronyism, claiming he worked for Montenegro and did not leech off the budget. His message to DPS is clear: look in the mirror before accusing others of betraying the state.

This political drama unfolds amid numerous events in Montenegro and the region — from successful stem cell transplants at KCCG, joint patrols of Montenegrin and foreign police on the coast, to rising fuel prices and nurses’ protests. But Stojović’s speech about DPS and Montenegro casts a shadow over all these topics, revealing deep divisions and tensions in the country.

Will Montenegro really survive without DPS? Stojović believes it will, stronger and freer. And DPS? Maybe it’s time they ask themselves if they are the ones actually endangering the state with their behavior.
