Montenegro Women’s Volleyball Team Defeated in Slovakia

The Montenegro women’s volleyball team was defeated in Slovakia with a convincing 3-0 score in the CEV Golden League. Our team failed to provide significant resistance to the favored Slovakian team, which held a lead from the start of the match. The Montenegrin players managed to close the gap to just two points in the first set but lacked the strength for a full comeback. The more experienced Slovak players easily won the first set, and a similar pattern was seen in the next two sets, which also went to the hosts. The most effective players for Montenegro were Nikoleta Perović and Darja Popović with five points each, while Saška Đurović scored four points. This defeat marks the third consecutive loss for Montenegro in this competition, which will continue with the final tournament in Kaposvár.
