Montenegro’s Young Basketball Team Finishes 12th at European B Championship – Success or Failure?

Montenegro’s young men’s basketball team finished 12th at the European B Championship in Yerevan, but is this really something to celebrate? The national team ended the tournament with three wins and four losses, losing their last match against Hungary in the battle for 11th place. Despite having a chance to turn the game around in the first half, Hungary took a double-digit lead and secured the win. Marko Radunović led the team with 17 points and 8 rebounds, while Luka Đurović and Milorad Brajović added 16 and 11 points respectively. But is this enough for the future? While football clubs prepare for new challenges in qualifiers, the basketball team struggles to achieve any success. Maybe it’s time to ask — where did our basketball strength go? Or is this just the beginning of something bigger? If you have thoughts, share them — who knows, maybe your critique or praise will spark change!
