Mostar has turned into a real furnace today! Temperatures soared to a record-breaking 42 degrees Celsius, so hot that even the railway tracks warped and bent! Yes, you read that right – the rails literally melted and twisted under the heat. As if that wasn’t enough, a massive wildfire broke out near Grude, making firefighters’ jobs a nightmare due to dry vegetation, strong winds, and inaccessible terrain. The situation is so dire that authorities have deployed an Air Tractor firefighting plane for the first time in western Herzegovina, rented from a company in Osijek. This aircraft has proven crucial in battling the fiery beast. Citizens sought refuge from the scorching heat by the Neretva River, while meteorologists warn of even hotter days ahead. Warnings are in place, and health services report a spike in heat-related emergencies. Train services have been halted due to warped tracks, and firefighters are struggling to prevent the fire from spreading to populated areas. All in all, Mostar and its surroundings are trapped in a fiery, blazing hell, and the big question is how much longer they can endure these extreme conditions. Think this is just another hot day? Think again – this is a full-blown heat apocalypse! So, what do you think? How much more of this heat can we take? Drop a comment and let’s see who’s ready for the summer meltdown!
